Hiring someone to help you
I have discovered a wonderful resource for hiring help, from anything to a very small job to a huge one.
I couldn’t believe my good fortune when I stumbled onto this place that allows you to offer your project to coders (programmers) from all over the world. I just used it once, when I wanted a very small program to help me automate the building of a group of related webpages.
I described what I wanted, and went to bed. When I got up in the morning I saw that about 10 different people had offered to do the job for me. I picked one of the lowest bids (probably a mistake, since you tend to get what you pay for) and in 2 more days I had a program that would do what I needed. And it just cost me about $10. If I had accepted one of the offers for around $50 I would probably have gotten a better written and documented program, but what I got did work for me. I gave the coder a small bonus in addition to what he had originally bid, since I felt guilty for paying him such a small amount.
I highly recommend Rent-A-Coder. Check it out. It doesn’t cost anything to offer a job to the coders there, and if you do hire someone you aren’t expected to pay until you accept the job they do.
