Viewing your page as you workIf your monitor is big enough, you can have your notepad open on one side of the screen, and a browser window open on the other side. When you make a change in the text on the notepad, you can save it, then refresh (reload) the browser and it will show you how the page looks. If you have a normal sized monitor, you'll have to use overlapping windows. Have a browser window open on one side of the screen that almost fills the screen. Have your notepad window open on the other side, also filling most of the screen. When you are working with the notepad, it will be in front of the browser window, giving you lots of space to work. As soon as you want to see what you have done, click on the little bit of the browser window that is showing on its side of your screen, and it will hop to the front and you can refresh it and see your latest results. |
