Page countersYour website host probably offers a counter for your page. That counter is likely to be the most accurate, as what it counts is the actual loading of your page. Unfortunately, that counter will probably give you nothing but the number of visitors you have had. While that's good information, there are ways to get better information, usually free.Most hosting companies also offer stats and graphs that show how many times each page was viewed, and various other bits of interesting information. My favorite off-site counter is:  
This counter gives all the information about your visitors to anyone who is interested. If you don't want the information to be there for your visitors to see, you shouldn't use this one. Click on it to find out about the people who have been here lately. You can find out what page they came from, what search words they used if they came from a search engine, and many more things.
